Wordless/Wordful Wednesday: German Holiday...
On Monday we had a holiday (German Unification Day) and the weather was so beautiful! We were so excited to get out and go to Ruedesheim to take the cable car up to the Niederwalddenkmal.

The cable car would have been so much fun. Looks like a lovely place to visit. The street of Ruedesheim are beautiful, the cobblestones caught my eye.

AntwortenLöschenNice pics, them cable cars look like fun ;-)
AntwortenLöschenHappy WW!
Ruedesheim is such a charming town! The small size looks as it has for a century - in the US, it is newer, and more expansive and the heritage is not like this town, being much newer. The vine growing over the street is something I have not seen, a very cool detail...
AntwortenLöschenThe cable car starts at the beautiful overlook and goes down over such interesting land - the car just clears the vineyard. It was a great day for the entire family!
What a fun family you are... always getting out and being adventurous. I wish I wasn't afraid of heights- I'm sure there were gorgeous views!
